Planning attention-grabbing moments

Finding a funny video or meme about the topic is a great way to grab students’’ attention at the beginning of a session and is a very effective tool to create a brief break and bring employees' attention back to the subject material. 

Priming

A great way of engaging employees in the subject material, is to present them with some kind of puzzle for them to think about before the training. This uses the brain’s innate need to solve things. 

Also you can implement a small assessment before the training to show employees what they need to learn, and a way to refer back to the assessment multiple times during the training session. Research has shown it is a great way of helping employees engage with subject content and improve their ability to recall it later.
